Bad points: First of all, I must distinguish what is Hotel Deluxe Twin room and Fun hub enjoy family room. Very unfortunately, I booked the Family Fun hub family room. (1) The toilet is only 3 feet x 4 feet big, with both toilet and shower inside. (2) The bed actually is a sofa bed, very thin, very uncomfortable, it has become V shape when 2 people are on it. (3) Even the room is big, but one side of the room is extremely cold. (4) Pillow and bed both hard as rock. After the rooms, we talk about outside (1) The building is actually sharing with some kind of office blocks. (2) Small lobby with a lot of people walking around. looks like a 2 stars hotel for me. (3) Breakfast is very expensive at RMB 60 - 80 per person. (4) Reception staff must learn how to smile a bit, most of the time the put up a long face. (5) PROBLEM - They don't even have a hotel concierge, although the reception can help you the book taxi. (6) By the way, Taxi is not easy to book unless you have a Chinese ID or Chinese mobile number. (7) You need to walk about 10 - 12 mins to get to the MRT Jianguomen, C door entry. (8) The convenient stores, are 10 -12 mons walking away. (9) Some good restaurants at Beijing station there, about 15-20 mins walk. (10) No big Shopping mall around. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT book the fun hub family rooms. The normal rooms are still ok, especially Deluxe Twin room. Good point: Nothing really Only a guy named Owen provided me some help before I left Beijing.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst in transit in Beijing. We took the train from the airport to hotel, you have to do a connection but really easy and only took about 40 mins and cost £5 each ! (You can not pay on card get yen) Check in was ok not the warmest of greetings but checked in all the same. The room was massive , clean , bed was comfortable . We thought it was great value for money. There are lots of options for food near the hotel , but please ensure you have cash. All in all a nice stay and would stay again

A dreadful experience staying at this run down " hotel ". More like a country cheap boarding house ! Really, awful. The first Suite they sent us to, as soon as we opened the door, the very strong Cigarette smell nearly knocked us over ! Must have had the Chinese Army in there smoking for a weem... unbelievable. Then, the fool at Reception, very unfriendly lectured us in Chines govt laws on smoking in hotel rooms. Hs sent a house maid up to check, and sge confirmed our complaint. No appology. Then.. a new Suite. The dirtiest hotel room we have ever had the displeasure of staying in ! The thick dust around ths bedhead.. just above the pillows was white/ grey in colour. The carpets... yuk ! Of course we demanded the suite be thoroughly cleaned.. that took some doing !.. The TV would not work.. snowy. took 2 days to fix. No one cares. I took a number of photos, sent to Management.. no appology... zilch. DO NOT STAY THERE !

the place is not 5-stars. i might have been once, when it was the marriot but definitely not now. there're still a couple of fairly fancy restaurants in the building but they are not parts of the hotel. the breakfast is ok but nothing to scream about, much less 5-stars standard. its location is also pretty lousy. there's nothing very interesting in the immediate vicinity and despite the property's claim, it's not 5mins walk from metro station (it's 750m from 2 metro stations - jianguomen & beijing railway stn) or 5-mins drive to tiananmen (impossible except maybe around mid-nights). so, what's good about it? it's price. which is pretty good so close to the center of beijing. if you are expecting a very good 3-stars or average 4-stars place at a very good 3-stars price, this hotel is a good option.

I actually have not been there recently but forgot to write review before. The hotel is nice and good location close to transportation. The rooms were clean and the most exciting part is the two bathrooms. I wish they had this in the US.
